Hi all,
this is my 2nd amp32. my first was an amp32PS and it woked great until I sent it too much AC voltage, but thats another story...
My new amp32 just clicks faintly in both speakers when powered up. I STILL dont understand the LED jumper configuration though. I've read the instructions over and over and looked at the diagrams many times AND been through the forum.
I currently have the + side of the LED in the 3rd hole (inside) in the box labeled J3. I have the - side of the LED in the middle hole and the jumper is in the outside hole. There is that very small hole that is inside the silkscreened box and I have nothing going to it.
When I put 13volts DC to the amp the LED does not light (I tested it with a 9v before install and it does work). I put my meter between the LED legs and get no DC voltage. I get 5v dc between the jumper wire that is in that outside hole and the LED - that is in the middle hole. Is that right?
All my solder joints seem to be ok, and Ive cleaned the board well. PLEASE HELP! Thanks.
