Hi!
What is the minimum supply voltage for AMP11 and AMP11 LV?
Would they run from a 12V car battery or a 19V laptop power supply?
Can they be modified to do so?

You can get them to run at down to 9V: http://www.41hz.com/Forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1917#11542
And yes to both accounts, 12V and 19V. If you're going down in voltage from kit spec, you may want to adjust the power stage gain to fit the supply voltage. How you do this is described in the datasheet for the chip, and also in the forums here. You *can* skip this step though. (I sometimes use varying input voltages - I adjust the power stage gain to fit the highest supply voltage.)
If you're increasing the voltage - the chips can take up to 36V, depending on load impedance - you also have to replace the power rail caps w/ 50V caps. (There are also 9V and 5V rail caps, these don't need replacement.) Unless you have the 36V version of the Amp11, of course.
