Hello DIYer community,

Just a short note to salute Jan's commitment in his customers statisfaction with his products : he has immediately replaced
an AMP15 kit which had been badly smashed by the Post, without any prior discussion.

I know very few companies able to provide such 1st Class service to their customers.

This had to be mentionned.

Bravo !

Mr T.

Not quite sure how many kits I've ordered now - about 10

I have never had any problems at all ! Not even a missing washer !

And you can always tell more about an organization when things go wrong, even if this is extremely rare.

I join you in your salutations.

Thanks to all at 41Hz.

Many of you know how many 41hz kits I've built, a few hundred at least and the ONLY missing parts I've once had were some of the tiny SMD 0.1uF caps in one kit. The package strip was there, but had somehow opened itself and a few of them had obviously fallen out somewhere, maybe even by myself unpacking it.... I'm 100% sure if I had opened up a support thread on it Jan would have briefly sent new caps, but since I had them in stock myself and they cost practically nothing I replaced them myself.

I have to say it is quite amazing, but Jan once told me they handle quite a watertight system in packing the kits. There is virtually no room for error, unless it is an initial error in the BOM which might happen with revisions on really new designs. I have never had damaged shipments either...

41hz is doing 100% better than Ikea!http://www.radioparadise.com/scripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/icon_whisper.gif In December I have purchased a couch there, I have bought a lot of stuff there in my life and have had several errors in their packages. This particular couch not only missed 80% of all the bolts and nuts (from a sealed bag!) By the time I had driven there twice I noticed the holes for them weren't even drilled either! Then I have had damaged panels from a closet, wrong parts for my bed, missing screws for a cabinet of drawers....

A BIG BRAVO for Jan and his team from my end!http://www.radioparadise.com/scripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/high-five.gif

I've had a few missing parts from my past kits but they were a part or two and Jan asked to send them but I refused because it is too much hassle for a small part. had them in my junk box so it was ok.

if Jan is not answering your emails, that means he didn't get them. ;)

Like the amp you built? Service OK? Let Jan know!
