Hi, my amp3 is connected to a 11.1V Li-Polymer batt. When connected to the battery, the ammeter at the input shoot to 15mA for 0.5 sec and quickly plunge back to 0mA. It stays at 0mA even if the battery is still connected. If I disconnect and reconnect the battery immediately, the ammeter remains still at 0mA. BUT if I disconnect and wait 20 sec before reconnecting the battery, the ammeter shoots up to 15mA and back to 0mA again. It seems to be charging a capacitor. Does anyone have the same problem and can guide me to which might be the possible problem? I have just finish the soldering and check the diode and solders. They seems to be all right. There is no sound and the IC doesn't feel warm.

Could be either an AMP3 overcurrent mute, which requires depowering to restart This kicks in at about 5A. It happnes in a tenth of a second so you may not see i on the meter. Or your meter has a protection that resets after some time?
