Decided to get the amp 3 instead of the amp1, because i'm uncertain if i'll be able to build the power supply with my limited experience. would the previously mentioned power supply be ok for this application? it is the recomended supply for the sonic impact amp and this appears to be similar, so i figure it should be ok. Also, what fuse/fude holder is needed for this, i want to order everything soon, so i can build it as soon as possible.

Hi,

I am not familiar with this supply, but asssume it has a built in fuse holder. Then you should not need an extra fuse holder for the amp. Otherwise, get any type of fuse holder that fits your physical design. The amp has an internal 5A overcurrent protection. A 6A fuse should be fine. With 8 ohm speakers you could use a 3A fuse.
