Hi all

I just finished assembling my AMP4 with success : nothing burnt, all in all it was an easy one [:I]

I am now thinking about buildind a "real man's amp" :D and the AMP2
seems to be more than adequate.
For those who know, how would you compare building difficulty between AMP4
and AMP2, apart from the power supply which isn't an issue for me.

Thanks for your help

I haven't built an amp4 but amp2 isn't too difficult. the most difficult part is getting a low enough EMI when completed and mounting the driver chip. other than those, it is easy.

Thanks, sounds really tempting.

I now have to source a nice power supply as I am aiming at the 2x300W / 8 ohms version
If I am right, for HiFi use this means a 750VA PS.

If you are training with the right people, and if you have the talent and the luck to go with it. Also, it helps to have the right look. I have seen people starting later than that and succeed. The word 'succeed' is also relevant to what your desire is.
