    For the moment, and I don't think it will change, I (FFF) would recommend a 2nd or maybe 4th order Linkwitz-Riley crossover. Especially with these texts in mind:

    But others might disagree. Just read and decide for yourselves.

    Choose what you want/need. (if not full-range speaker or bi/tri-amping: you need it, woofer: def. use a filter. tweeter: at least a cap in series)
