Hi Tim...It looks very good!....You hear some difference using the Smps vs the linear PSU ? Congratulation of your work
Look like a very good Amp. Only the AI has to be worked out. I hope this thread and others will help for the future buyers. Not yet assembled.
Yes , thank you!!
I am worry about the 0.1 uf caps. Should I re install them with the 100 V version? How can identify if is a 100 V or a 50 V ?
Jan reply. It is problem of loggin that he did not had my messages. The request is done.
And yes, slowly I am doing my hobby stock parts, it is very usefull to have them handy. Not the washers, it...
How far? Well I have a few missing resistances and the washers to mount the fets. I've requested to Jan but I dont have his reply.
So as soon as I can go to a electronic shop here in the city to...

Vincent...I am not a starting builder....I am not a electrinic engineer also, but, I believe that Jan looked for all kind of people and skills when he offered those kits. All the others amps on the...
I am not the only one =-)...At least my questions will help more people in the same situation
Good to know that cap has to be as close is possible because in the place I was thinking to put them (Beside the coils and top of C67/C57) it is not close.
Putting them on the bottom of the board, I...
yes I see that in the schematics.....I have to research the FET legs in the board and not to do a bad connection...Man this Amp is time consuming. Looks like he forgot the component in the board...
Ok...so, what is the configuration pin for a BBM of 80 ns
For what for R300 ? It goes to the jumper, if it is not used (??) I may take it away.
I had another question made in another thread. How do you recommend to install C68/C58 ? It is not showed in the components drawing.
Any pictures of this?
What is the configuration of BBm fo the Truepath? 120 ns?
That is good to have handy those options of configuration. But it has to be indicated somewhere and for all kind of hoby guys...;more and less skilled =-)
Anyway, the BBM jumper has to be in...
Vincent, I may dont understand your anwser. But you told me that "let it be" the jumpers....and I see in this last reply a specific configuration to adjust BBM ?
yes I know those options.;;but all the pins of Jp1 and Jp2 has to be "open"? for normal use?
Ok. I see for the Fet placement, thanks for the idea.
How to connect Jp1 and Jp2. I can see the inputs connection, but, the others configuration?
When R43,44,45,46 are in place, two legs of each side are in the area of the Fet placement. I suppose that i have to put washer to have the Fet properly ajusted to the cooling surface. Anyway, that...
I see better in the top picture, just the red cable is on VNN connector on the right, but, it is not connected there! =o)
I am patient....almost a year waiting that Jan update the amp documentation.
Where goes C58 and C68 ?????????? I dont see them in your pictures or in the others amp7 pictures posted.
Vincent, I appreciate (As others) very much your assistance. As you said, time is money, and the time spending in this amp makes me evaluate the "real" cost of this Amp. One thing is using the time...
C9...is has to be 50 V or the 100 V??....This Amp finally is very expensive when we add all this time finding and fixing the bugs!!
