Well good news and bad news.....Good news first I looked at the chip soldering again under a scope at school and used a pick to see if all the pins were down as they should be. They were not all...

Thank you for the advice. I'll check those joints and run through the chip again as you advised. Then I'll let you know.

So I went to test my amp32 today. my ps says its a 12v 1a but it reads at 14.8v anyway I decided to hook it up anyway. my amperage starts out at .5 and goes down to zero. the fuse doesn't blow....

soo I'm irritated... I had a big long post with a few questions and answering your questions. I posted it and left for school and it didn't post the thread... so I'll have to write it again later.

I guess in reading some of the forums people talk about changing caps and whatnot...maybe they are talking about messing with the preamps and crossovers. I am building an amp7 for my mids and highs...
