Would increasing input cap help any?

I did not use the 3.3mf electrolytic caps that came in the kit. I used a pair of Dayton 1% film caps instead. I am thinking of replacing them with a pair of Auricap caps. Would increasing the capacitance to 3.6mf or 4.0mf help the sound of the amp? Would it improve bass response any?

No, only the quality of the cap will affect the sound. 3.3 to 4uf would no make a discernable difference to the bass. 3.3 is plenty.
