Thx ! [|)] I know r-type is better but it is too expensive ! One day !

I think 225VA 2X21V is a good choice for limited budget.
Go for it!

Can i use 2x25vac ? Is think it is too much but I found cheeper...
No you can't! for 25VAC...you will have 25*1.414=35.35VDC after rectified.
Which is almost rated max voltage 36V in the TA2022 datasheet.
Not to mention that usually 2x25VAC means you will have 25VAC when the transformer is "fully loaded"!
So the voltage is higher (1~2Volts higher depends on your load and the size of transformer) when it is not fully loaded!
I think you risk to damage the chip if you use 2x25VAC for amp5.
Okay thx !
Hi,
I need a condensator for the volume chip. This is the C55 (10uF, 10v). Is it an electrolytic one ? Can I use another voltage ? (because i have some difficulties to found the condensator).

So you use the volume chip!
Can you tell me where to buy the chip?
Thank you~
Yeah. I found the chip on several french websites. But this is an equivalent : DC1802+. DC1802 seems to be not build anymore. I just have difficulties to find the condenser.
Do you mean C155? It is an electrolytic cap. Of course you can get a higher voltage cap, important is it has same pitch (distance between legs) of 2,5-3 mm.quote:Originally posted by modjibe

My hint is to ask Jan for volume control on amp5. I know there are some mods to do.
