I completed another amp3 and this one sounds great, but... LM317 and the 2050 chips get pretty hot. As in hot enough not to touch from more than 5 seconds. I've pushed the amp pretty hard for 45 minutes with no bad effects, but I've never had t-amp components develop this much heat.

I'm running two 12V SLAs, so the fully charged voltage is approaching 27 volts. I have a nice little heat sink for the 2050 chip, but nothing for the LM317 (Q10).

Has anyone experienced service issues with chips running hot like this?
