Default Dropping voltage to 31 V

HI.. I have transformers with 25V secondaries on hand. After rectification, it will be about 35+V DC. Even accounting for the 1.4V drop across the rectifier, it will be about 34V DC. I would like to bring it down to 30V DC - How should I do it? Thinking of putting in high current diodes in series, but that means that I will need about 5? What do you recommend?

    thanks!

You could consider adding some turns on the primaries or removing some from the secondaries of the transformer. I didn't try it myself but there are several posts on the web about people who did it.

Transformer is encapsulated - I don't really want to break it open.. thanks..
