    Default AMP8 Transistors

Is this a Problem when i to prolong (ca. 6cm) the connection from the PCB to the Output Transistors with heavy wires?

I will to assemble the AMP8 in a Soundstream DA-2 Case. to mount the transistors to the head sink on the Soundstream DA-2 Case is the space to big

    best regards from austria

You'd better not, Tripath states clearly that the inductance on these connections should be kept minimal. Even when you shield the wires you still have higher resistance....

You can better tap new holes... in aluminum you don't even have to buy a real tap, just use a sharp file to cut a cutting-ledge in the bolts you want to use. This way you create your own self-cutting screw...(ofcourse you need to pre-drill...)

------X-max. can be several meters on any driver, too bad it can be done only once...------
