I am building an AMP1B and I want to integrate a volume control pot into the amplifier. Has anyone done this successfully? If so please let me know how or at least what to look for.
Thank you for your help.

I haven't built an AMP1B but the principle of volume control is the same for all amps. The easiest way to do it is to replace Rin with a potentiometer (pot). AMP1B schematic is on page 7 of "TA-2022 evaluation board". Rin is R51 and R32 (two because there is one for each channel). Rin is 20k. Replace these with a dual ganged audio taper pot. Please post again if you need info on how to connect it. Alternatively, here's a good explaination:http://sound.westhost.com/pots.htm#markings

you can olso just put a potentiometer in front of the amp.
A 50k wil do fine.
The input signal on the slider, one pin to the input of the amp, the other pint to ground.
Thanks a lot.
