I whish to use a passive pre after my sound card (+4dbu) with my new amp9 and i found this on ebay

but it's a 100k pot.
Do you this i could use it ?

100k is a little bit high.
A 40 or 50k pot will do better.
The input impedance is to high with a 100k pot. This can generate noise.
This is exaclty the point that scares my.

If it helps, I was looking for a dual-gang pot in the 10K range; these are not motorized, but for what it's worth, check 'em out:

I use the Taiwan Alpha 10k dual log pots a lot, they are very good. There is even a thread on diyaudio. In Australia we call them "Jaycar Pots". Jaycar is a popular electronics shop that stocks them.
