Turntable PS Driver

Hi Guys!

I am looking for an amp that will drive a step up transformer that powers up my Garrard 301 turntable. My Rotel RB990 works fine for the application except that it overheats after about 30 mins. I need about 12V rms out into a transformer with a very low input impedance (approx .5ohm).

Will the T-Amps work in this application?

Gee, at the price for these kits it's worth a try...the rotel costs much much more....
