On my first Amp6 I place the power switch on the back of the amp and put the sleep switch on the front (sort of like some computer power supplies).
On my second amp I placed both on the front.
I truthfully can't see a reason to use the sleep switch though as it does nothing for the turn on pop and serves little purpose.
