Yes, somehow it turned up in my junk mail, but I retrieved it... If that was yours anyway, I get a lot of inquiries about the AMP4...

It took a while but finally I got everything assembled and tested - a Truepath board populated by V-bro and the rest done by myself.
V-bro did a very neat job soldering and testing the amp, can definately recommend his services.
...and the amp sounds great. Will let it burn in before I actually start doing any real comparisons.
Hey thanks man!
I can add to the services I can offer, I can make ANY 41hz amp a remote controlled integrated amplifier.
With ALPS motorized potentiometer or relay switched attenuator with fixed resistors (and db-scale display and source 1 to 6 indication), 5.1 option, simple or durable aluminium remote control, led source indication, rotary source selection knob, option for balanced inputs/outputs etc. etc....
------For first power-up testing don't have the large power supply caps installed yet!!!------
V-bro I sent you also an email. I am interested for one MP4.
Hi, I replied to your personal message....

From personal experience I rate the sound quality of 41Hz amplifiers, as the best currently available, due to their superb design and quality of components.
I think these prices from V-bro are an extraordinary bargain, given the amount of time and work it takes to carry out these amplifier projects. V-bro’s consummate skills are a phenomenal asset to this Forum, and he provides this additional service in producing these amplifiers, for those who do not have the time or the skills to build them.
Rather than his price list being “partially” hidden on the Forum, could it, or should it be in a more prominent position? Or could he post it every so often, with updated prices? I certainly like looking at it, and dreaming of my next project!
Ken.
Thanks for the kind words Ken, I would and have discussed it many times with Jan to place the list in a more prominent position. But, I am a one man assembly service and I'm not a business. Hence the prices, I build them for those who fear doing it themselves and try to give the best service I can as a non-professional (even though I can offer professional build quality). With our three month old son my spare time is even more limited now, but this will probably recover in time. Perhaps in time I can guarantee a steady delivery time and professional service, then I can rest assured to have the list positioned more prominently on this site. I am not in need of more customers at all, from this publishing and word of mouth I have my hands quite full already....
And about the work, yes, this takes many many hours for most of the kits and if I were to charge my hours wages the list would look a lot less attractive...

Why don't you put up some sample packages? (I cannot imagine you have time to build them, but you offered...)
There ARE people who like an integrated amp.
- nice housing
- some 4 diff. sources
- remote control (volume, tone), with a display maybe
Some estimates would be nice: Plug & Play.
OR:
Kit-wise: all the stuff in one go. Saves a lot of hassle already too. (searching for days to get the stuff)
OR:
Listing of all the URL-links with the needed stuff. (I know it's all here somewhere, but.....)
(things like this, for a small amp: http://cgi.ebay.com/DIY-TA2024-2022-...item1c142a67ce is not top-rate, but useful already)
Don't try to make it too TOP-notch....perfection is X-pensive, good is OK.
PS
If some want an extreme compact build, let me know....
