Everything that is soldered becomes hotter than you'd want to touch with your fingers. These diodes can handle that short term, about 8 seconds. If you measure them and there isn't a dead short it will be fine, even if they dont work again. It may be a bit hard to measure, depending on the precision of your meter because the resistors in parallel are rather low value....
