    Default PSU board

    Hello Jan.

What I've understood there is an PSU board under construction.

My question is what it will consist of and what functions it will have?

And most important: When will it you start taking orders?

    Best regards

    Hi Jan!

Will there be a PSU board for AMP2? Otherwise I will build a PSU myself!

Keep bugging me on this one and I have to finish it! Yes sorry, I have been saying for a loooong time; it will be ready soon. It will arrive. Soon. Keep asking and reminding and it will move up on my list.

Hmmm... so if I remind u 50 times/day about this u will finish it faster.....

I hope u finish it soon because I want to make an order soon and there is several options that I'm looking at but if I can order both an amplifier kit and PSU board from the same site it is a major benifit.

    Keep up the good work!!

I'm about to complete AMP2. It would be nice to have the PSU board.

Maybe I'm missing something -- is there something about this amp that requires a special power supply, or will an ordinary one do? Most of the instructions I've seen for big toroidal power supplies are the wire 'em together types.

It just requires a normal PSU. But I promised to make one with soft start, +/- 15V, +5V etc in a manner that would fit piggyback on the amp board. An I have not delivered yet................ The soft start startup peak current, which could reach 200A, <10 ms, for a transformer this size.
