Thread: High voltage stabilized PSU

    Default High voltage stabilized PSU

I know that the switch mode chips used here don't need a stabilized power supply (though in the AMp32 instructions it is stated that there are advantages to them). While there are high voltage LM317 chips available I cannot find an equivalent for the negative rail. How is this done?

They are very rare indeed, you can solve this very easy by simply taking two isolated rectified voltages and place them in series and then use two positive regulators. I love the LM1084....(pin compatible with LM317 and will also fit on PSU1-VR)
