Default Simple question: Is it Ok using those speakers this way?

I chose some speakers and I just want to know if it is correct if I connect them like below, and which type of resistor should I use?

    Untitled.jpg

    The speakers are:
    http://www.public-adress.fr/pr-3423/...r-SP-252E.html
Instead of the HT 30, I will use those one: http://www.public-adress.fr/pr-1942/...a-MPT-005.html

Can I use only one tweeter or will it won't be enough? Do I have to change something because the woofer is 4 ohm and the tweeters are 8?

Last quick question: can I use a non temperature selectable iron (60w) to build my amp9 or everything will just fry? (then what temperature should I select?)

    Thank you for your answers,

    Laurent.

    Hi,
you would not need a resistor in that setup.
Piezo-Tweeters act like a capacitor and the resistance of the tweeter will only be low enough to produce sound after a certain frequency is reached. If at all you could add an additional resistor in series as a high pass, but you would not have to.

I think you could match those speakers without a second tweeter. Both are specced at 94dB, so they should match.

However, I would not use a piezo as a tweeter, they usually produce high distortion. I would go with something like this: http://www.public-adress.fr/pr-2662/...ts-4-ohms.html

But you would need a crossover for that tweeter and in addition its just my personal oppinion

And I guess you can use a non temperature controlled iron, but you will have to be carefull not to heat the solder/parts too long. But there are persons around here who will be able to give a profound answer to that.

    Cheers

If you don´t fail at least 90 percent of the time, you´re not aiming high enough ;-)

Thanks for the reply, I'll think about that, it's easier to have someone say 'yes' or 'no' than look for hours on the internet without finding the solution for the exact question... I might find a friend who has a temperature controlled iron, so I'll try borrow it from him, that would be easier.

    Cheers
