Astrodyne SMPS LPS100 for AMP5/10

Hi,
I'm planning to use Astrodyne SMPS LPS100-27 http://www.astrodyne.com/Product/lps100.asp for a AMP5/AMP10 kit because it is cheap ($60), prebuilt and approved, and because of the possibility to alternate between 110Vand 230v mains (family in US) - would the LPS100-27 (or another Astrodyne SMPS) work with the AMP5/10 kit?

ps. preferably I would go with the AMP1 but I can see it requires an additional regulated 100mA 5v line - which the Astrodyne SMPS dosen't have - is there a suitable workaround for this?

Are you good at SMT soldering? Amp1 contains many small SMD components.
These amps require a + and - (dual rail) DC power supply. The LPS100-27 is only a single rail PS, so no, this one won't work with the TA2022 chipset amps.

Ok, sorry didn't read the specs on the LPS100 carefully enough. I'll look around for a 100w SMPS that can deliver approx. +/-24v.

I have soldered a couple of SMT boards before so with an additional "SMT soldering practice board" I'm confident that won't be a problem.
