None of them seem to quite fit Just interested for future reference.
Hahahah LOL, I wouldn't know what it's called in English, but the technique is to place a huger series capacitor on the woofer and then the sealed enclosure can become really small and yet go very very deep.... It's how those little cube subwoofers work in many home theather systems. Brand names like REL use this technique. Off course it takes a certain kind of woofer to be really suitable, preferrably low Qts, unlike normal sealed box woofers....

This is something I been thinking of doing, making a small transportable subwoofer. Do you know where I can find more info on this subject?

Btw, how do I transport my boomcase by airplane? Its a closed suitcase with LifePO4 battery... Dont know if they would like to inspect the inside of it and such...

Here's an online calculator for the GHP system (still can't find the English word for it...)

    http://www.12vhifi.nl/closed.html

And if it helps, I have taken my Macaroni on flight to the UK several times and only needed to say it's a portable speaker system.... no problems.... Lithium based batteries above 100Wh are prohibited to take on airplanes though....

A little googling revealed this page, I assume it's what you're talking about:

    http://www.lautsprecher-shop.de/inde...ghp_mon_en.htm

There's a link near the top of that page explaining it all:

    http://www.lautsprecher-shop.de/inde..._tief_c_en.htm

I have no practical experience with this, just thought I'd share.

Yes, that's it indeed... The name 'GHP' stands for 'Gesloten High Pass' in Dutch or 'Geschlossen' HP in German....

In English we could just call it 'SHP' then, for 'Sealed High Pass'....
