    Default No green light

    Hello!

I have come to a problem, and hope you can help workout what is causing this.
When I connect the amp, the green led doesn't come on. After checking the voltages both fault and overldb is 0V. So I think the problem is not with led's, or the driving mosfet.

And there's one more. Yesterday, when I was testing the amp was cool, but still had the same problems, and of course no music, when I tried. But today, when I connect it, the amp and the voltage regulator gets so hot after aprox 2 minutes, that they can't be touched, so I have to unplug the whole thing.

No hints about what can cause 0V at overldb out?

The power supply is OK, maybe my chip is just bad? What else can be possibly go wrong with the Amp-6 parts, that I should check? I know that the led driving mosfets may be wrong, but in this case this is indifferent..
Maybe I shorted something during soldering that can cause this somehow?

No the outputs have different grounds. Maybe I should order a new chip, the panel apart from the chip seems to be good (I checked a lot of soldering with the multimeter, but all of them works as they should..).

What kind of transformer are you using and how do you have it hooked up?

This is a 100 VA 15V transformer. It have two pair (2x15V) secondary "outputs", but I'm just using one pair of them. The mains ground is connected to the amp's ground (is it ok? or I just need to connect it to the case?).

I think I'll remove the chip, and will test the board without it. If it will be ok without the chip, then maybe I should try it with a new tripath 2020.

    Hello!

No... Since summer I don't had time to fix the problem. I tried everything, I think the chip is wrong, but changing won't be easy I think.
