The switch for sleep mode

Any switch with 2 stable positions will do.

What purpose has exactly the sleep function ? I assume that it's different than the mute function ?

I have also a question, I've build a amp6 but i have a High quality industrial graded PSU from Traco,and it's have a slow start-up so no clicks. For no sleep-mode do you need a jumper or can you let the pcb on that place unwired?

You can just leave it unwired.

You will need to put the jumper from the sleep pin to analog ground.

When I answered to you I was making my own experiments with the mute and forgot how it was connected [V].

According to assembly instructions,for testing:Leave the jumper out,install 200ma fast blow fuse(some say it is too small and will blow anyway?) before the amp.Measure how many amperes the amp draws at sleap mode.It should be less than 1ma.Only then install the jumper or switch.
