    Default Which regulators for PSU-1

It looks like the regulators on my PSU-1 board have gone (they were not attached to a heatsink) and I need to replace them. I can't find the info anywhere on the forum for the specs. Can anyone help me?

Which board are you referring? There are PSU-1PS, for main rails, PSU-1SS for a soft start, and PSU-1VR for auxiliary voltages. According your other post your problem is the negative rail, so that would indicate PSU1-PS. That doesn't have regulators thou, only diodes.

Those are MUR820 diodes, that's 8A for 200V. You can replace them with similar diodes or anything greater than those specified, for example with MUR840 (8A, 400V) or MUR860 (8A, 600V).

My mistake - it's the diodes that I think need replacing. What's the thinking regarding heatsinking them? Is this recommended?
