Default Best way of connecting my speakers?

    Hello,

Iīve been searching around for a couple of time now trying to make sense of wich way to connect my speakers to get the best performance but I would like some help from you and maybe someone could give me a few pointers?

    The setup is the following: 2x P.Audio HP-12W , Rila SA 05 Piezo with 2 47R resistance.
When Iīve been searching around I noticed that alot of people want to use these speakers in 4ohm but I canīt really figure out the reason for it, why is that?

So I guess my options is the following:

    1. Connect each speaker to a sepperet channel, then I will have the speakers in 8ohm per channel.
Should all the inputs be connected together or in pairs? pin 1,3 together and 5,7 or should it be 1,3,5,7 all connected?

    2. Connect channel 1,2 to a pair of speakers: 1 hp-12w paralled with piezo. The same goes for channel 3,4.
Will this give me any advantages instead of "option 1" or is this even possible?
Anyone got any other "option" for me?

The speakers are in option 1 at this moment, but Iīve noticed I canīt really get any low hz output from my bass, what can I do about this? (Only hp-12w connected to channel 1,4.)

At this point im running the amp on a 12v, do I have any pros/cons running the amp in 24v instead of 12v?
I think I read something about the low hz increases when the amp is connected with 24v?

have you got the speakers mounted in a box?

maybe you can draw a diagram because I'm not entirely sure what you are talking about.

but you may want to run 4ohm speaker for an increase of twice the power output from the amplifier
and increasing voltage, going from 12 to 24V will give 4 times the power output

The hp-12w is just standing on the floor connected to 1 channel each, channel 1 and 4 (piezo is not connected).
Is it not possible for the speakers to play low hz when not mounted in a box?
They will be mounted in a box but im just trying them out right now.

I basically just want to know wich is the best way to connect my speakers (hp-12w + piezo) to the amp9 and if I should go with 12v or 24v.

Yeah no box no bass, and precisely what is the number of speakers you actually have?
Go with 12 V if it provides you with enough spl (sound pressure level), 24 V if it doesn't. Only you know how loud you want it.

Agreed gnome, for a rough test a " box " can be almost anything, ive used drawers and cardboard boxes, even a good sized bit of ply can pass for an "infinite baffle " in a pinch.
I don't have a bucket list, but my fucket list is a mile long.

    Gben-Chalice, I will build a box of 12mm plywood.

So Iīve noticed there is something weird with the sound, the missing bass and I completely lack of some mid range. I connected my hp12w to my denon3312 and there is such a difference in sound. Canīt figure out if I made some connection wrong to the amp9 inputs or where Iīve done wrong.

I made my connections in paint for you to see if you can figure it out?
Iīve also tried giving each speaker their own channel but there is still problem with the sound.

Problem solved. There was an issue with the input.
Iīm using a 3.5mm to RCA cable and thought they were left and right and not L/R and L/R Ground, rookie misstake haha..
