I´ve been searching around for a couple of time now trying to make sense of wich way to connect my speakers to get the best performance but I would like some help from you and maybe someone could give me a few pointers?
The setup is the following: 2x P.Audio HP-12W , Rila SA 05 Piezo with 2 47R resistance.
When I´ve been searching around I noticed that alot of people want to use these speakers in 4ohm but I can´t really figure out the reason for it, why is that?
So I guess my options is the following:
1. Connect each speaker to a sepperet channel, then I will have the speakers in 8ohm per channel.
Should all the inputs be connected together or in pairs? pin 1,3 together and 5,7 or should it be 1,3,5,7 all connected?
2. Connect channel 1,2 to a pair of speakers: 1 hp-12w paralled with piezo. The same goes for channel 3,4.
Will this give me any advantages instead of "option 1" or is this even possible?
Anyone got any other "option" for me?
The speakers are in option 1 at this moment, but I´ve noticed I can´t really get any low hz output from my bass, what can I do about this? (Only hp-12w connected to channel 1,4.)
At this point im running the amp on a 12v, do I have any pros/cons running the amp in 24v instead of 12v?
I think I read something about the low hz increases when the amp is connected with 24v?
