I use AMP6-basics in my Asbox backpack units driving a pair of 4 ohm speakers and powered by 2Ah Eneloop rechargeable packs (actually about 1.9Ah in practice). It's just about possible to run them flat in 2 hours but the distortion is getting very noticeable at that level. Turn them down a bit and they'll last 4 hours, turn it down a bit more and they'll last most of the day.

Okay, it seems like I don't have to worry then. If you got some spare set of batteries with you they should run for days I hope!
Just got hold of two UPS batteries on 17Ah each for free which are at least 80% okay: http://www.csb-battery.com/english/0...p?fid=5&pid=13, I consider these my backup

I like what I read if i understand this correctly: "GP 12170 is a general purpose battery up to 5 years in standby service or more than 260 cycles at 100% discharge in cycle service". They should handle 100% discharge pretty good then?
