Power supply question.

Now I have been enjoying my thrupath greatly and have upgraded my whole system around it. But, I am using the power supply and transformer of an old Marantz 250 amplifier that was damaged behond repair and I would like to upgrade since I suspect that old age has diminished its quality. So wich of PSU1-PS or PS5-A should I chose ? Are they of the same quality soundwise since the price difference is to be considered.

I'd take the PS5 I think. Cheaper and has speaker-side relays, which are nice to have. Can't see any difference that I'd consider as different I'd say the PS5 was simply a newer design and more cost-effective.

Thank's for your suggestion Krilli, your confirming what I was thinking. I was just unsure because of the price difference between the two and wonderend if they where of the same quality in terms of desing and parts.
