No, J2, two sets of 2 holes
it's under "powering up for the first time" in the Assembly Instructions
the amp will not start unless you have a wire link in each of awake and unmute
Thanks, i did it and it worked... Now my next challenge is to find out why only one speaker is working properly. The other sounds weak and at very low volume. It's nothing to do with loudspeakers because both work fine. It's something to do with the amp.
Better check the solder joints for the nonworking channel. A bad ground connection somewhere on the line might cause that.
Yeah lmost certainly a bad solder joint, have a good look at the inductors, some flux really helps.
Also don't forget to give the board a jolly good scrub with a toothbrush and propanol.
Hi thanks!!! yes it was one of the big inductors (L1), I noticed the other day that one leg was a bit loose, almost touching the solder, but not quite. Resolder the inductor and Vualá! it works.
Thanks every one... that makes me feel to get another amp6 for other project. I was a bit puzzled because it wasn't my first amp soldering.... I've done much worse with succesful results.
I don't know, It's working beautifully now, playing Metronomy "English riviera Album" on my iPhone.
Here is a picture, a bit chaotic testing I must say.
now for the boom box. As soon as I get it done I will post pictures of it.la foto-6.jpg
