    Default high 'sleep' current

Just ran my AMP6 for the first time last night and was very impressed.

I was interested to see that the 'sleep' current was about 50mA and the operating current was about 110mA (at low volume).

Is this anything to be worried about? Otherwise the amp was fine in operation: no startup thump, nothing got hot, and the green LED came on when I shorted out the sleep jumper. I ran it for about an hour and it was fine.

I'm considering upping the gain though (currently input gain of -1, total gain 12) , as I'll be building a volume pot into the case when I get that far. Any reason why this is a bad idea?

    People have done it before....

But you might just wanna go for more power...

------X-max. can be several meters on any driver, too bad it can be done only once...------
